Congratulations Mark Flounders, Learner of the Month

At B-Skill, we like to reward hard work when we see it. That’s why we’d like to announce Mark Flounders, from G4S, as January’s Learner of the Month.Mark has been employed as Security Supervisor with G4S since 2011. After expressing an interest in progressing within the company, Mark embarked on a Team Leading qualification having been recommended by his employer.During this time, Mark upskilled his ICT to Level 2 as well as stepping up as Leader during a team building exercise. Mark’s employer has highlighted his impressive leadership skills and drive, then made the decision to give Mark the extra responsibility of managing the Hartlepool site, including direct contact with the client. Mark excelled in the task and really found his own management style. Additionally, Mark has also spent part of his time as Duty Manager, dealing with areas and responsibilities that aren’t usually part of his job role.After demonstrating hard-work and determination, Mark successfully achieved his Team Leading qualification and applied for the role of UK & Ireland Security Operations Manager. We are delighted to learn that Mark was successful in his application and will be responsible for overseeing 44 different sites as part of the management team.We’d like to say well done to Mark for all of his efforts in achieving his Team Leading qualification and wish him great success in his new role.
