Entry Levels 1-3

Levels 1 & 2

• Carry out multi-step calculations accurately
• Use data from charts, graphs, and tables
• Understand percentages, ratios, and formulas
• Apply reasoning to solve real-world problems

• Greater confidence using maths in daily life and at work
• A recognised qualification – with a certificate after passing
• The option to move up to the next level after you pass
• Flexible support if you need help along the way

• Both online and classroom-based learning options are available
• Just 2 hours a day, 5 days a week, for 12 weeks
• Our tutors support you every step of the way
• Extra help sessions available
• After the course and successful passing of the exam, you will receive a certificate

• Please Read Before You Submit To qualify for fully funded Functional Skills in maths, you must:
  • Be aged 19 or over on 31 August within the funding year
  • Be employed/self-employed with a gross annual salary less than £33,210
    OR
    Be unemployed and meet one of the following:
    • Receiving Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
    • Receiving Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
    • Receiving Universal Credit, with take-home pay below:
    – £952/month (sole benefit)
    – £1,534/month (joint benefit)
    • Released on temporary license and studying outside prison
  • Have an eligible UK residency status, or meet exceptions from the 3-year rule (see options above)
  • If on a visa, you must have enough time left to complete the course or be eligible to renew
