National Client Engagement Specialist

REPORTING TO:

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Actively promote B-Skill Apprenticeship & Commercial Training.
  • Generate new leads and apprenticeship opportunities with Employers, both levy paying and non-levy paying.
  • Undertake effective sales/business development activities to generate employer interest and apprenticeship opportunities with both existing employees and new apprentices.
  • Working remotely you will travel between local and national businesses speaking with managers and human resource professionals in order to engage learners onto apprenticeship programmes.
  • Contacting employers and discussing the programme face to face, to ensure Employers are clear about apprenticeships, and sign up to supporting the learners through the programme.
  • Represent and uphold B-Skill corporate image as an ambassador for the organisation.
  • Manage the recruitment process for youth apprenticeships.
  • Ensuring employers are aware of relevant funding rules including 20% off the job training.
  • Attend networking and career events to maximise new business opportunities and promote B-Skill brand.
  • Conduct employer ONA, H&S, Learner Engagement visits.
  • Ensure the CRM system is kept up to date.
  • Carry out Marketing activities including generating leads from social media, cold calling, email and social media campaigns, mail merges etc.
  • Conduct contract reviews with all employers either by phone or in person in line with B-Skill policy.
  • Prepare monthly report for Executive team including periodic statistics as required.
  • Manage administrative processes, documentation and data capture.
  • Send weekly updates of recruitment figures to Key Account Manager where required.
  • Carry out all duties and work in accordance with the B-Skill quality improvement procedures and in the spirit of the B-Skill Values Statement.
  • Play an active part in the promotion and awareness of Safeguarding of learners across the business and externally as appropriate, and to help prevent acts of radicalisation and extremism.
  • Play an active part in promotion and awareness of Equality & Diversity across the business and externally as appropriate.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills Required

  • Significant experience of working with employers at a senior level in a target driven organisation with a personal track record of achievement.
  • Experience and knowledge of Apprenticeships is essential
  • At least 3 years’ experience of working within an Employer
  • Engagement/Sales or business development role
  • Ability to demonstrate sound customer service experience and liaison with people at all levels
  • Understanding of funding rules and guidance
  • Understanding of Apprenticeship Levy
  • Clear understanding of Apprenticeship Standards
  • Good IT skills including MS Office
  • Strong customer service skills, specifically liaising with external stakeholders.

    Qualifications and Education

  • Hold an accredited marketing qualification or be able to demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of marketing/sales requirements
  • IAG Qualification would be beneficial

  • Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
  • Must be smart and presentable at all times
  • Ability to drive and hold a clean driving licence
  • Must have own vehicle and able to travel frequently
  • Flexible with a positive attitude to change
