Apprenticeship Overview
A work-based learning programme for employees in public, private, and voluntary sectors, both national and multinational. Learning and skills mentors support training and development in various fields like healthcare, military, manufacturing, education, and more.
Mentors help individuals and groups achieve learning goals within ethical and legal frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders to meet mentees’ needs inclusively. They focus on their professional development and reflective practice, working in diverse environments both face-to-face and remotely. Mentors interact with professionals at all levels, supporting mentees’ progression while adhering to ethical and legal standards. They complete their tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met and best practices are maintained.
Apprentices must achieve Level 2 English and maths before the End-Point Assessment. Those with an education, health, and care plan or a legacy statement need Entry Level 3. British Sign Language can replace English for those using BSL as their primary language.
