A work based development programme designed for employees who are Supervisors, Team Leaders or Facilitators with responsibility for carrying out business improvement activities. The purpose of this programme is to provide employees with the skills, knowledge and understanding to provide high value added products and services more cost effectively and with greater quality and support the business to identify and deliver continuous and sustainable quality, cost and de-livery improvements for existing or new products, processes and/or services.

  • Applying Value Management (Value Engineering and Analysis)
  • Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Applying Six Sigma methodology to a project
  • Carrying out Six Sigma process mapping
  • Applying basic statistical analysis
  • Applying Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Applying mistake/error-proofing (Poka Yoke)
  • Carrying out Statistical Process Control (SPC) procedures
  • Applying Six Sigma metrics to a project
