This standard will begin your journey in an incredibly diverse marketplace with a rich history of helping people and businesses assess the risks they could face. You will perform duties in line with the employer’s needs that can include supporting in the acquisition of new clients, handle cliejnt queries on products, services and accounting, process and analyse data to support business objectives and maintain and develop relationships both internally and externally. You will gain a broad understanding of the insurance market that covers everything from sports cars to hurricanes.
Level 3 Insurance Practitioner

You will be qualified to progress into insurance-related career paths that includes underwriting, client relations, insurance claims, loss adjusting, broking, reinsurance and account management.

This standard provides a development pathway that will allow you to specialise areas of the insurance industry. It supports the consolidation of technical, industry and business knowledge and the development of the skills needs to apply this to a range of complex situations. You will be involved in a variety of areas that could include broking, client management, underwriting, claims, operations, loss adjustment, reinsurance, risk management product and pricing and complaint handling.
Level 4 Insurance Professional
Level 2 Functional Skills – English, Maths and ICT
Diploma level qualifications from either the CII or CILA are required to complete this Apprenticeship
You will be qualified to become a specialist in chosen elements of the insurance industry
