Customer Service Practitioner Level 2

Overview

This standard is aimed to develop your skills, knowledge and behavioural competences required to work as a Customer Service Practitioner. You will provide high-quality service to customers either digitally or going out to the customer’s locality. Working as an individual or part of a team, you will handle all areas including order-handling, payments, offering advice, guidance and support, meet-and-greet, sales, problem-solving, after care, service recovery or gaining insight through measuring customer satisfaction.

Qualification

Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner

Level 1 Functional Skills – English, Maths and ICT

You will also become eligible for Individual Membership of the Institute of Customer Service at Professional Level

Entry Requirements

Level 1 English and Maths

Progression

You will be qualified to progress into a range of Customer Service Practitioner roles or advance onto a Customer Experience Specialist Apprenticeship Programme.

You can become an organisation’s first point of contact and work in any sector or organisation type.

Customer Service Specialist Level 3

Overview

This standard is focused on being a ‘professional’ for direct customer support within all sectors and organisation types. You will be the referral point for dealing with more complex or technical customer requests, complaints and queries. You will be an expert in your organisations products or services and share that knowledge with your wider team and colleagues. You will gather data and customer information that influences change and improvements for your company, whilst utilising both organisational and generic IT systems with an awareness of digital technologies.

Level 1 English and Maths

Progression

You will be qualified to progress into Customer Service Specialist roles in environments including contact centres, retail, webchat, service industry or any customer service point.
